Solskjaer queries referee over Shaw’s Y’llow.
Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on BT Sport has questioned the integrity of Referee Gianlucca Rocchi over his decision to hand Luke Shaw a yellow card while sparing Busquets on the same offense during their 1-0 loss to Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg.
Luke Shaw will miss the second leg tie after he was booked for a foul against Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.
Busquets had committed series of fouls against United players and even picked a yellow card of his own in the first half but was allowed to stay on the pitch for 90 minutes, a reason Ole was left in pains to why the ref had taken such a decision against his own side.
”Why does Luke Shaw get a yellow card when he does his?
”It’s just that consistency and definitely yes Busquets should have been sent off,
”There’s nothing we can do about it. I can’t complain about the referee. We haven’t had any homers, if you put it that way. We are where we are and he’s going to play against over there.
”We have to go there with the same belief and same energy as he did in Paris, he said.
